About the position

Travelers Insurance is seeking an Associate Operations Account Specialist to join our team in Centennial, Colorado. This role is pivotal in collaborating with underwriting and other key business partners to secure and retain the best business for our portfolio. As part of a fast-paced team, you will be responsible for managing multi-state, multi-line accounts throughout their lifecycle, which includes rating, pricing, quoting, and issuing policies, as well as handling related account activities. You will contribute to a positive workplace culture by building and maintaining strong working relationships with business partners and agents, ensuring that we deliver exceptional service to our customers. In this position, you will gain a rich understanding of business processes by leveraging standardized workflows and state compliance guidelines. You will be expected to synthesize multiple sources of information to make sound decisions, exercising critical thinking and decision-making skills to become a trusted advisor, thereby solidifying customer confidence. Your role will make a significant difference to our customers by executing on service level commitments and delivering quality products in a timely manner. Additionally, you will perform other duties as assigned, contributing to the overall success of the team and the organization. Responsibilities

  • Manage multi-state, multi-line accounts throughout their lifecycle, including rating, pricing, quoting, and issuing policies.
  • Build and maintain strong working relationships with business partners and agents to contribute to a positive workplace culture.
  • Leverage standardized workflows and state compliance guidelines to gain a rich understanding of business processes.
  • Synthesize multiple sources of information to make sound decisions and exercise critical thinking.
  • Deliver quality products in a timely manner while executing on service level commitments.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Completion of higher education coursework.
  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Suite applications (Word, Excel, etc.).
  • Insurance Education/Designations (CPCU, CIC, etc.) is preferred.
