About The Position

The Underwriting Support Technician plays a crucial role in supporting the underwriting function at Verus Specialty Insurance. Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Strong oral/written communication skills with a positive attitude.
• Detail-oriented with initiative and ability to work in a fast-paced team environment.
• A focus on delivering exceptional customer service.
• Proficient in the use of computer software programs, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Resourceful, analytical, with the ability to execute tasks through to resolution.

Responsibilities

• Accurately key incoming applications into Verus Core systems and review them for completeness.
• Provide timely, courteous, and efficient service to all internal and external clients.
• Assist with various underwriting support functions, including Premium Audit and Inspection Report ordering and scheduling.
• Contribute to innovation and enhancement goals as the company seeks to learn, grow, and succeed.
• Process Legal Notices and Renewal Setup for all product lines.
• Partner to support the program business.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
