If you want to use your advanced IT skills to support national security, then this is the job for you. You'll get to use leading-edge technology as you sustain and defend the networks our Air Force warfighters use in the CENTCOM theater. In this role, you will engineer, design, and implement Unified Communications/Collaboration voice network systems and services, including Cisco Unified Communications Call Manager, Cisco Unity, and Dial Plans. You will identify and troubleshoot VoIP call-routing and voice/video quality issues, recommending and implementing mitigation strategies. Additionally, you will troubleshoot escalated issues to identify and repair complex network issues for WAN, LAN, and Voice/Video, analyze metrics to recognize sub-par network performance, and develop reports and trend analysis documentation on bandwidth and network security incidents. You will also be required to provide oral and written briefs, presentations, and professional reports to Government senior leaders and decision-makers, develop and review detailed or complex technical documents, and provide on-call support after hours, on weekends, and holidays.
