About the position

The Union Payroll Specialist position at our growing construction firm in Richmond, CA, is a critical role that requires a dedicated professional to manage the payroll for our union employees. This position is 100% onsite, ensuring that the selected candidate will be fully integrated into our team and operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in processing union payroll, with a minimum of three years of experience handling payroll for up to 300 employees. This role involves not only the accurate processing of payroll but also the preparation of weekly and monthly union reporting, which is essential for compliance and operational efficiency. In addition to payroll processing, the Union Payroll Specialist will be responsible for certified payroll, which includes using various tools and systems such as the Department of Industrial Relations (DIR), Elations, and the LCD Tracker. The ability to navigate these systems effectively is crucial for ensuring that all payroll submissions are accurate and timely. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, are necessary for this role, as the specialist will need to liaise with various stakeholders, including employees, management, and external agencies. This position offers a competitive salary range of $85,000 to $95,000, depending on experience. Responsibilities
