This position is for a Flatbed Owner Operator based in Nashville, TN, focusing on local and regional transportation. The owner operators will have the opportunity to work with or without a trailer and will be responsible for local and regional shipments, ensuring quick load and unload times, and receiving competitive weekly settlements.
Responsibilities
- Operate flatbed trucks for local and regional shipments.
- Ensure quick loading and unloading of cargo.
- Maintain communication with dispatch regarding load status.
- Adhere to safety regulations and company policies.
- Manage paperwork related to shipments and deliveries.
Requirements
- Valid CDL A license is required.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience driving a tractor-trailer is preferred.
- Experience as an owner-operator is preferred.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience with flatbed or step-deck trailers.
- Knowledge of local and regional routes in TN, AL, LA, and MS.
