About the position

The primary purpose of this position is to function as the Unit Deployment Manager ensuring assigned personnel are qualified and ready to meet Air Expeditionary Force requirements. The role involves planning, organizing, and overseeing all unit level deployment activities, performing analysis activities, providing technical guidance and recommendations to senior leadership regarding the unit deployment program, and ensuring personnel and equipment readiness.

Responsibilities

Requirements

• U.S. Citizenship Required.
• Males must be registered for Selective Service.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain the appropriate security clearance.
• Work may occasionally require travel away from the normal duty station on military or commercial aircraft.
• Incumbent may be required to work other than normal duty hours to include evenings, weekends, and/or holidays.
• Shift work and emergency overtime may be required.
• This position may be designated mission essential based on local conditions.
