About The Position

The Unit Facility Management Manager at IKEA is responsible for overseeing all aspects of facility management within specific units, ensuring a safe, efficient, and sustainable environment for co-workers and customers. This role involves leading facility management teams, implementing innovative property management solutions, and managing budgets and supplier contracts to enhance operational efficiency.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a managerial Facilities role or similar.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience managing and coordinating with external service providers.
  • Experience working with sustainability from a facility management perspective.

Responsibilities

  • Lead all Facility Management (FM) aspects through the unit FM teams to optimize property value and efficiency.
  • Provide a safe and operational environment for the business, co-workers, and customers.
  • Implement property management innovations, digital and technical solutions.
  • Ensure understanding of FM guidelines and initiatives among co-workers, service providers, and external partners.
  • Manage long-term planning, budget estimation, execution, follow-up, forecasting, and reporting within the FM scope.
  • Implement and evaluate supplier contracts to improve efficiencies, costs, equipment, and quality.
