About the position

The Unit Program Coordinator serves as the primary point of contact for the squadron commander/director, providing administrative support across various programs including task management, cybersecurity liaison, Government Travel Card program, and more. This role is essential for ensuring the effective management of administrative functions within the unit.

Responsibilities

  • Assist the commander/director in managing all administrative support program functions.
  • Serve as the subject matter expert for mandated administrative support programs.
  • Act as a liaison to military and civilian personnel offices.
  • Perform clerical and administrative work in support of the office/organization.

Requirements

  • U.S. Citizenship required.
  • At least one year of specialized experience at the GS-05 level or equivalent, including experience with administrative support programs.
  • Knowledge of organizational and functional responsibilities of an organization.
  • Proficiency in various office automation software programs and tools.
  • Skill in fact-finding, problem analysis, and problem resolution.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with the Defense Travel System (DTS) administration.
  • Familiarity with drug demand reduction programs and health care programs.
