About the position

The Unit Program Coordinator serves as the primary point of contact for the squadron commander/director, providing administrative support across various programs including task management, cybersecurity liaison, Government Travel Card program, and fitness programs. This role is essential for ensuring the smooth operation of administrative functions within the unit.

Responsibilities

  • Assist the commander/director in managing all administrative support program functions.
  • Serve as the subject matter expert for mandated administrative support programs.
  • Act as a liaison to military and civilian personnel offices.
  • Perform clerical and administrative work in support of the office/organization.

Requirements

  • At least one year of specialized experience at the GS-05 level or equivalent in other pay systems.
  • Experience in managing administrative support programs such as cybersecurity liaison, Government Travel Card program, and Defense Travel System administration.
  • Ability to prepare and edit written correspondence and reports using correct grammar and formatting.
  • Proficiency in using various office automation software to produce documents, spreadsheets, and databases.
