The Unit Secretary for the Behavioral Health Unit at Forbes Hospital plays a crucial role in providing both secretarial and direct patient care duties. This position is essential for maintaining the smooth operation of the unit, ensuring that all patient records are accurately documented and that communication flows effectively among healthcare team members. The Unit Secretary will be responsible for maintaining the medical records of patients, performing direct patient care, and ensuring that all necessary documentation is completed in a timely manner. Additionally, clerical duties related to patient admissions, transfers, discharges, and maintenance of patient activity records will be part of the daily responsibilities.
