Additionally, the Unit Secretary is tasked with filing documents and maintaining an orderly and comprehensive medical record for every patient, which is vital for effective patient care and communication among healthcare providers. In this per diem role, the Unit Secretary will work from 8 AM to 8 PM, providing flexibility in scheduling while supporting the nursing staff and enhancing the overall patient experience. The position requires a proactive approach to managing the unit's operations, ensuring that all clerical tasks are completed accurately and in a timely manner. The Unit Secretary will also serve as a point of contact for patients and their families, addressing inquiries and facilitating communication between the nursing staff and other departments within the hospital. Requirements
