Responsibilities

• Manage acquisition and merger risk for clients.
• Structure acquisitions to optimize net cash flows.
• Conduct pre-acquisition or pre-sale due diligence.
• Ensure tax compliance requirements are met throughout the deal.
• Encourage team members to voice their opinions and ideas.
• Deal effectively with ambiguous and unstructured problems.
• Initiate open coaching conversations at all levels.
• Anticipate stakeholder needs and develop potential solutions.
• Contribute technical knowledge in the area of specialization.
• Navigate complexities of cross-border and diverse teams.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree required; Juris Doctorate (JD), Master of Laws (LLM), or Master's degree in Accounting or Taxation may substitute for a Bachelor's in Accounting.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in tax services or related field.
• Certification as CPA or Member of the Bar, or other relevant credentials.

Nice-to-haves

• Intimate-level knowledge of mergers and acquisition practices.
• Experience in tax consulting and planning, transaction structuring, and financial modeling.
• Familiarity with CRM systems and automation tools.
