About the position

As a Senior Manager within the United States National Tax services at PwC, you will play a crucial role in helping clients navigate emerging tax issues and implement effective tax strategies in response to legislative changes. You will focus on managing acquisition and merger risks, structuring deals to optimize cash flows, and ensuring compliance throughout the transaction process. Responsibilities

• Manage acquisition and merger risk for clients.
• Structure acquisitions to optimize net cash flows.
• Conduct pre-acquisition or pre-sale due diligence.
• Ensure tax compliance requirements are met throughout the deal process.
• Encourage team members to voice their opinions and ideas.
• Handle ambiguous and unstructured problems effectively.
• Initiate open coaching conversations at all levels.
• Anticipate stakeholder needs and develop potential solutions.
• Contribute technical knowledge in the area of specialization.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Business Administration/Management, or related field.
• 5 years of experience in a relevant field.
• A Juris Doctorate (JD), Master of Laws (LLM), or Master's degree in Accounting or Taxation may substitute for a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting.
• Preferred: CPA or other relevant tax, technology, or finance-specific credentials.

Nice-to-haves

• In-depth knowledge of M&A practices, especially in partnership M&A and private equity.
• Experience in partnership taxation and transactional analytics.
• Technical skills in US federal income tax law as it relates to partnerships.
• Proven ability to manage consulting engagements and client relationships.
