In this role, you will provide full-spectrum Budget Analyst support to the Plans and Program Division within the US Air Force Life Cycle Management Center at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base (WPAFB), Dayton, Ohio. Your primary responsibilities will include delivering financial management support in various areas such as financial analysis, cost estimating, and program integration. You will work closely with the F/B Directorate Chief Financial Officer and the entire F/B PEO portfolio, ensuring that senior management is kept informed of the progress of programs and any significant financial developments that may impact the mission. Your expertise will be applied to a range of financial management guidance and regulations, including but not limited to FMR 7000.14R, AFI 65-601 Vol. 1 (Budget Guidance & Procedures), AFI 65-601 Vol. 2 (Budget Management for Operations), AFI 65-508 (Cost Analysis Guidance and Procedures), AFMAN 65-604 (Appropriations Symbols and Budget Codes), and GAO Fiscal Principles of Federal Appropriation Law. You will be responsible for providing recommendations, identifying sources of program shortfalls, preparing below threshold reprogramming and above threshold reprogramming packages, and realignment requests. Additionally, you will provide policy guidance on all USAF appropriations and perform daily verification of forecast accuracy in the Web CCaRS system. Your role will also involve assisting in maintaining CCaRS user accounts and privileges within the F/B Directorate. You will help populate the CCaRS with user accounts, budget structures, custom field reporting, coordination workflows, and system settings. Furthermore, you will assist in the sustainment and database administration of the CCaRS application, which includes program planning, financial budgeting, financial management, tracking and reporting, and evaluating metrics. Ensuring that the CCaRS database is properly tailored and configured to meet the Government's unique requirements will be a critical part of your responsibilities. You will also assist in populating the requirements portion of the CCaRS database with existing source data provided by Government organizations, such as spreadsheets and hardcopy documents, to establish a budget baseline. Monitoring the accuracy of the Government's organization data will be essential to your role.
