About the position
The Universal Associate (UA) position at Capital City Bank is designed to provide prompt, efficient, and friendly service to clients. This role encompasses both Teller and Personal Banker responsibilities, assisting clients with their banking needs, introducing them to technology, and providing information about bank products and services. The UA is expected to identify opportunities to meet clients' financial needs while adhering to established policies and procedures.
Responsibilities
- Provide prompt and friendly service to clients.
- Assist clients with their banking needs, including technology introductions.
- Cross-sell bank products and services to meet client needs.
- Process consumer and commercial transactions such as deposits, withdrawals, and loan payments.
- Maintain cash security and balance cash drawer daily.
- Respond to client questions or concerns in a courteous manner.
- Educate clients on ID fraud and phishing scams.
- Enter and maintain client information in the bank's systems.
- Follow procedures for opening and closing the office and responding to emergencies.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED required.
- 1-2 years of experience in client service, sales, and cash handling.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Proficiency in data entry and typing.
- Ability to perform basic mathematical computations.
- Ability to follow detailed instructions and procedures.
- Ability to stand or sit for long periods.
Nice-to-haves
- Sales, retail, or referral experience preferred.
- Understanding of Capital City Bank products and services is a plus.
