About the position

The Universal Banker at Flushing Bank plays a crucial role in delivering exceptional customer service while managing various banking transactions. Responsibilities

• Proactively greet customers and manage their experience in the branch.
• Engage with customers to establish new relationships and deepen existing ones.
• Fulfill customer financial needs through needs-based selling and referrals.
• Process deposits, payments, and other transactions seamlessly.
• Identify and cross-sell banking products and services.
• Engage in outbound calling to generate referrals and sales opportunities.
• Ensure compliance with all banking regulations and policies.
• Perform operational responsibilities as designated by management.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance, or related field, or comparable education and/or experience.
• Minimum of 2 years experience in a financial institution or retail environment.
• Knowledge of financial institution operations and regulations.
• Working knowledge of Windows and Microsoft Office.
• Strong interpersonal communication and client service skills.
• Ability to apply analytical skills in reviewing data.
• Effective oral and written communication skills.
• High level of trustworthiness and professionalism.
