About the position

The Universal Banker Operations Specialist Supervisor is responsible for managing the daily operations of the branch teller area and supervising Universal Banker I roles. This position plays a crucial role in achieving branch goals by coaching and developing tellers, ensuring compliance with bank policies, and delivering exceptional customer service. The supervisor will also handle various banking transactions, assist customers, and work closely with the Branch Manager to maintain operational standards and meet referral goals.

Responsibilities

• Manage the day-to-day operations of the branch teller line.
• Supervise Universal Banker I roles and ensure proper scheduling and coverage.
• Prepare for audits based on Retail Standard Operating Procedures (RSOP).
• Coach and develop tellers, providing performance feedback and conducting reviews.
• Assist the Branch Manager with hiring and training of branch staff.
• Deliver superior customer service and maintain confidentiality of customer information.
• Initiate conversations to uncover customer needs and meet referral goals.
• Monitor performance and report to management.
• Ensure compliance with operational standards regarding security and risk management.
• Complete required training for bank policies and procedures.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED; one to two years related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Proficient knowledge of Windows and Microsoft Office software (Notes, Word, and Excel).
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with high accuracy and attention to detail.
