About the position

The Universal Banker position at Truist is a part-time role focused on providing exceptional client service and facilitating various banking transactions. The role involves engaging with clients to understand their financial needs, educating them on digital banking solutions, and supporting sales activities through outbound calls. The Universal Banker is expected to adhere to operational procedures and risk management policies while contributing to a positive client experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide a distinctive client experience by engaging clients and conducting transactions.
• Educate clients on digital banking solutions to enhance their service experience.
• Support team sales processes through client outreach and identifying needs.
• Understand and implement Integrated Relationship Management (IRM) practices.
• Participate in Truist Retail Community Bank Leadership Routines.
• Advance individual and product knowledge through training and meetings.
• Adhere to internal controls and risk management policies.
• Serve as a secondary contact for new account openings and problem resolution.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent education.
• Two years of teller or cash handling or client service experience.
• Six months of client relationship building or sales experience.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to master PC keyboard and software skills for branch automation.
• Ability to multi-task under time constraints.
• Demonstrated proficiency in basic computer applications, such as Microsoft Office.
• Ability to travel for temporary staffing needs and work weekends or extended hours.

Nice-to-haves

• One year of client relationship building or sales experience.
• Knowledge of advanced branch transactions and risk management.
• Experience with sourcing and prospecting for new clients.
• General understanding of bank operations, policies, and procedures.
