About the position
The Universal Banker (UB) position at United Business Bank is a full-time, onsite role focused on providing exceptional customer service to clients. The UB will assist clients with various banking inquiries and requests, ensuring a professional and efficient service experience. This role emphasizes cross-selling banking products and services while supporting branch personnel and the Universal Banker Team Lead in various tasks.
Responsibilities
- Assist clients with requests and inquiries over the phone and in a virtual environment.
- Ensure professional, friendly, accurate, and efficient service at all times.
- Apply cross-selling techniques during client interactions.
- Assist clients with cash management products and online banking services.
- Support branch personnel with questions regarding procedures and processes.
- Perform all duties accurately, timely, and according to bank policies and regulatory guidelines.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- General knowledge of lending processes, terminology, regulations, and standard banking practices.
- Knowledge of Teller, New Account, and Operations procedures.
- Two or more years of customer service experience, preferably in banking or financial institutions.
- Excellent communication, multi-tasking, organizational, and troubleshooting skills.
- Good math skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office software.
