About the position
The University Dining Services Late Night Operations Manager at Villanova University is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the Belle Air dining unit. This role ensures adherence to policies and procedures, directs staff to meet operational goals, and manages both administrative and operational tasks as assigned by the Unit Manager. The position requires strong supervisory skills in a food service environment, focusing on maintaining service quality and efficiency during late-night hours.
Responsibilities
- Supervise the food production area and ensure employees adhere to service time guidelines.
- Inventory and order food as needed by the establishment.
- Supervise the receiving and storage of food and supplies.
- Coordinate maintenance and custodial issues with the Unit Manager.
- Assist the Unit Manager in training employees.
Requirements
- Proven food service experience in areas of responsibility.
- Minimum of three years of food service supervisory experience.
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
- Ability to work independently under general supervision.
- Familiarity with general kitchen equipment.
