About the position

The National Accounts Sales Enablement & Support role at HCSC is designed for recent university graduates who are eager to learn and contribute to the Sales and Account Management operations. This position focuses on providing exceptional service to both internal and external stakeholders while supporting the National Account Sales and Account Management teams in their efforts to acquire and retain business. The role emphasizes client retention, sales strategies, and relationship building within the organization.

Responsibilities

  • Support Sales/Account Management personnel in prospecting, acquiring, or retaining business.
  • Conduct research for prospective business using internal sources, external agencies, or reviewing RFPs.
  • Research inquiries from customers, Brokers, or company representatives and assist in problem-solving.
  • Relay information to Sales or Account Management personnel or respond directly to customer inquiries promptly.
  • Coordinate meetings as necessary.
  • Prepare documentation for prospective or existing customers and review forms for completeness.
  • Comply with HIPAA, Diversity Principles, Corporate Integrity, Compliance Program policies, and other applicable corporate and departmental policies.
  • Maintain confidentiality of company business and communicate with management regarding developments in assigned responsibilities.
  • Perform special projects as required or requested.

Requirements

  • Pursuing a bachelor's degree in marketing, sales, health care, economics, public relations, communications, business, or a related field; higher degrees may be considered.
  • Graduation date between December 2024 - June 2025.
  • A minimum GPA of 3.0/4.0.
  • Unrestricted authorization to work in the United States.

Nice-to-haves

  • Previous intern or work experience in Sales, Account Management, Healthcare, Project Management/Coordination, or Public Relations.
  • Health insurance knowledge or interest in learning about the health insurance industry.
  • Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills; telephone, public relations, and customer service skills; ability to compose presentations and summarize findings.
  • Ability to learn quickly and provide feedback; represent the company in sales or account management.
  • PC proficiency with Office 365.
