About the position

This ten-week paid internship at HCSC is designed for students pursuing degrees in business, finance, project management, information technology, or healthcare. The internship provides hands-on experience in Business and Technology Portfolio Management, allowing interns to engage with cross-functional teams and learn various project management techniques. Interns will also participate in professional development workshops and networking opportunities, culminating in a final presentation to department leadership.

Responsibilities

  • Actively participate in the internship program, leveraging skills and knowledge.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams in business and technology areas.
  • Learn specific aspects of processes, programs, and technology related to Business and Technology Portfolio Management.
  • Engage in business case reviews and support additional project activities.
  • Comply with HIPAA and corporate policies, maintaining confidentiality.
  • Communicate with management regarding development in assigned responsibilities.
  • Create a final PowerPoint presentation summarizing the internship experience and project results.

Requirements

  • Pursuing a bachelor's degree in business, finance, project management, information technology, healthcare, or related fields.
  • Graduation date between December 2025 and June 2026.
  • Minimum GPA of 3.0/4.0.
  • Availability to work 10 weeks during the summer.
  • Unrestricted authorization to work in the United States.
