About the position
The Tech Fundamentals Program is a free training initiative designed to equip participants with essential IT skills through virtual instruction. The program offers a comprehensive learning experience, including opportunities for paid internships, project-based learning, and the chance to earn industry-recognized certifications such as CompTIA A+, Google IT Support Certificate, and IT Generalist Apprenticeship credential. Participants will also receive mentoring from experienced IT professionals and access to job placement assistance.
Responsibilities
- Participate in up to 20 weeks of instructor-led virtual training.
- Engage in a paid internship or project-based learning experience.
- Earn industry-recognized certifications including CompTIA A+ and Google IT Support Certificate.
- Receive mentoring from senior-level IT professionals.
- Attend employment readiness workshops.
- Access job placement assistance with top employers.
Requirements
- No prior experience required as this is an entry-level program.
- Interest in pursuing a career in IT or technology.
