About the position

The Tech Fundamentals Program is a comprehensive and free training initiative designed to equip participants with essential skills in the field of information technology. This program spans up to 20 weeks and features instructor-led virtual training sessions that provide a robust foundation in tech fundamentals. Participants will have the opportunity to engage in a paid internship or a project-based learning experience, allowing them to apply their newly acquired skills in real-world settings. Additionally, the program offers pathways to earn industry-recognized certifications, including CompTIA A+, a Google IT Support Certificate, and an IT Generalist Apprenticeship credential, which are highly valued in the tech industry. Throughout the program, participants will gain exposure to leading technologies from major companies such as Microsoft, Cisco, and AWS. This exposure is complemented by mentoring from senior-level IT professionals who provide guidance and support, enhancing the learning experience. The program also includes employment readiness workshops that prepare participants for the job market, equipping them with the necessary skills to succeed in their job search. Furthermore, the Tech Fundamentals Program offers job placement assistance, connecting participants with a wide range of top employers.
