About the position
The Tech Fundamentals Program is a free training initiative designed to equip participants with essential IT skills through virtual instruction. The program offers a comprehensive curriculum that includes instructor-led training, opportunities for paid internships, and project-based learning experiences. Participants can earn industry-recognized certifications, gain exposure to leading technologies, and receive support for employment readiness and job placement.
Responsibilities
- Participate in up to 20 weeks of instructor-led virtual training.
- Engage in a paid internship or project-based learning experience.
- Earn industry-recognized certifications such as CompTIA A+, Google IT Support Certificate, and IT Generalist Apprenticeship credential.
- Receive mentoring from senior-level IT professionals.
- Attend employment readiness workshops.
- Access job placement assistance with a network of top employers.
- Utilize financial assistance and resources for housing, childcare, and other needs.
Requirements
- No prior experience required; open to military veterans and young adults from underserved communities.
- Willingness to learn and engage in a virtual training environment.
