About the position

The Brand Ambassador at Unsubscribed is a pivotal role responsible for generating sales and providing customers with an exceptional shopping experience. As the face and voice of the company, Brand Ambassadors are tasked with building brand recognition and promoting products through meaningful customer engagement. This role requires embodying the company's values and Customer First behaviors in all interactions to create a positive shopping experience for customers. In this position, you will consistently demonstrate the Unsubscribed Customer First selling standards to deliver a positive customer experience and achieve daily sales goals. You will leverage company tools and technology to provide customers with product knowledge that enhances engagement and maximizes sales. Collaboration with fellow employees is essential, as you will share knowledge, assist in tasks, and support customer interactions. You will also outfit customers by suggesting key looks and incorporating the latest trends based on their individual styles. Additionally, you will promote the growth of the Unsubscribed brand by introducing customers to additional brand channels. Your responsibilities will include performing register sales transactions accurately, restocking merchandise, maintaining company brand standards, and ensuring a clean and organized store environment. You will handle merchandise efficiently, resolve customer concerns, and adhere to all company policies and procedures. This role requires a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, to meet the needs of the business.

Responsibilities

  • Demonstrate Unsubscribed Customer First selling standards to deliver a positive customer experience and achieve daily sales goals.
  • Leverage company tools and technology to provide customers with product knowledge to enhance engagement and maximize sales.
  • Support fellow employees by sharing knowledge and assisting in customer interactions.
  • Suggest key looks and incorporate the latest trends based on the customer's individual style.
  • Promote awareness and growth of the Unsubscribed brand by introducing customers to additional brand channels.
  • Perform register sales transactions quickly and accurately according to cash control procedures and customer service guidelines.
  • Restock return merchandise to the correct product location and label damaged merchandise appropriately.
  • Maintain company brand standards per the 5 S's (In Size, Styled, Stocked, Standard, Signed).
  • Ensure a neat, clean, and organized sales floor, cash wrap, fitting room, and stockroom.
  • Handle all merchandise efficiently from shipment processing to markdown optimization and replenishment systems.
  • Proactively resolve customer concerns in line with company policy and ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Understand and adhere to all company policies and procedures.

Requirements

  • Previous retail experience preferred.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with customers and team members.
  • Demonstrated collaborative skills and ability to work well within a team.
  • Ability to receive feedback and take appropriate action.
  • Ability to stand and move about for extended periods with short rest breaks.
  • Ability to reach, bend, and stoop to handle products.
  • Flexible schedule availability including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficient with technology.
