The UNT WISE Senior Program Project Coordinator position is a vital role within the Texas Beacons of Excellence grant project, focusing on enhancing employment outcomes for individuals with disabilities. This position involves overseeing partner sites located in Dallas and Amarillo, with plans for expansion into additional cities across Texas by October 2024. The Senior Program Project Coordinator will be responsible for coordinating training, support, and technical assistance for one to two embedded Employment Specialists at each site. This role is crucial as it provides in-depth support and coordination of services not only to the Employment Specialists but also to site staff, leadership, project participants, and their families. The work will be conducted both virtually and in person, necessitating regular travel to the various sites. The Senior Program Project Coordinator will serve as a resource expert for Employment and Vocational Rehabilitation Services, providing training for rehabilitation personnel, consumers with disabilities, and stakeholders in various formats, including online sessions, in-person workshops, and webinars. Additionally, the coordinator will disseminate information about UNT WISE programming at conferences and community events, develop strategic alliances within the community, and complete programmatic reports and administrative functions within specified timeframes. This position requires a proactive approach to planning, developing, and producing materials specific to project needs, as well as participating in special projects as assigned by the SWTCIE Program Director or UNT WISE Director. The role is designed for individuals who are committed to fostering an inclusive environment and who possess the ability to adapt creatively to the evolving needs of the program.
