About the position

The UOP Dental Student Rotations at La Clinica de La Raza is a volunteer position designed for current dental students from the University of the Pacific Arthur A Dugoni School of Dentistry. The program emphasizes patient education, quality oral care delivery, and mentoring for students and residents.

Responsibilities

• Participate in dental rotations at La Clinica de La Raza, providing preventive and general dental care.
• Educate patients on the importance of oral health and self-care techniques.
• Assist in delivering quality restorative procedures within the scope of care provided by the Dental Department.
• Mentor and support dental students, residents, and clinic staff in clinical care delivery.
• Engage in continuous quality improvement practices to enhance patient care.

Requirements

• Current dental student at the University of the Pacific Arthur A Dugoni School of Dentistry.
• Basic knowledge of dental procedures and patient care.

Nice-to-haves
