About the position

We are seeking a skilled videographer for a video and photo shoot at a small business located in Upland on August 24. The project will involve capturing interviews with several subjects, b-roll footage of the location and services offered, as well as headshots and additional photography around the office environment. The videographer will be provided with guidelines, a shot list, and interview questions to ensure that the shoot runs smoothly and meets our expectations. The focus will be on producing high-quality raw footage and photographs, which will be used for promotional purposes. This is a half-day shoot, estimated to last approximately 5 hours, and we are looking for someone who can work efficiently while maintaining a high standard of quality in their work.

Responsibilities

• Conduct video and photo shoots as per the provided guidelines and shot list.
• Capture interviews with various subjects, ensuring clear audio and visual quality.
• Film b-roll footage that effectively showcases the location and services of the business.
• Take headshots and additional photographs around the office environment.
• Deliver only raw footage and photos as per the project requirements.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a videographer with a strong portfolio of relevant work.
• Ability to provide own HD camera, lavalier mic, and basic lighting equipment.
• Experience with gimbals, stabilizers, or sliders is highly preferred.
• Strong understanding of video composition and lighting techniques.
• Ability to work efficiently and effectively under time constraints.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience in shooting for small businesses or similar projects.
• Familiarity with editing software, although editing is not required for this project.
