About the position

Responsibilities
- Demonstrates expertise and mastery of content in the designated Spanish-immersion subjects being taught.
- Instructs students using best practice teaching methods, demonstrating, and using audiovisual aides and other materials to supplement presentations, all in Spanish.
- Understands different learning styles and incorporates multiple styles in teaching.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree (B.A.) in History or related field from a four-year college or university.
- One to two years of related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- A certified teaching credential is required.
Nice-to-haves
- Bilingual Proficiency: Must have an Advanced-High+ proficiency in Spanish (C1 and above) and seek to continue to develop their biliteracy.
