About the position

The Upsell Marketing Specialist plays a crucial role in enhancing the point of sale for various channels, specifically focusing on Door-to-Door, Retail, and RIS. This position acts as a liaison between the business and IT, particularly for systems like Sales Quest and Wincare. The specialist is responsible for ensuring that product, pricing, promotional, and process launches are effectively implemented within the front-line sales teams. This involves developing sales flow processes and creating user interface stories for development, as well as documenting processes and assisting in content development for training purposes when necessary. In addition to implementation, the Upsell Marketing Specialist analyzes the performance of front-line sales representatives to identify gaps in performance. This includes gathering data and anecdotal feedback to measure impacts and providing recommendations on how to close these gaps. The role also involves researching questions, problems, product development, and operational issues that may arise. Daily responsibilities may include reporting (both ad hoc and weekly), prioritizing tasks within Sales Quest and WinSales, managing campaigns, and coordinating training sessions for Door-to-Door sales teams. The specialist will also be involved in user acceptance testing (UAT) and production elevation, as well as managing NID and supporting national agent calls. Overall, the Upsell Marketing Specialist is integral to the success of the sales teams by ensuring they have the necessary tools, training, and support to effectively sell Windstream's products and services.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure product, pricing, promotional, and process launches are effectively implemented within front line Sales teams.
  • Develop sales flow processes and open UI stories for development.
  • Document processes and assist in content development for training, if necessary.
  • Analyze front line sales representatives' performance to uncover gaps.
  • Gather data and anecdotal feedback to measure impacts.
  • Provide recommendations on how to close gaps.
  • Research questions, problems, product development, and/or operational questions or issues.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
  • Manage reporting: ad hoc and weekly.
  • Prioritize tasks within Sales Quest/WinSales, create user stories, and gather business requirements.
  • Manage Sales Quest/WinSales campaign management, reporting, user guide and training, and downtime communications.
  • Conduct testing for UAT and production elevation.
  • Manage NID and participate in weekly calls with leaders and/or sales teams.
  • Coordinate monthly Door-to-Door training sessions.
  • Support national agent calls.

Requirements

  • Knowledge of wireline/wireless products and market research methodologies.
  • Familiarity with current and emerging technologies.
  • Experience with Azure Dev Ops.
  • Knowledge of Sales Quest and Wincare systems.
  • College degree and 8+ years of professional level experience with 3-4 years of supervisory experience; or 12+ years of professional level related experience with 3-4 years of supervisory experience; or an equivalent combination of education and professional level related experience.
