About the position

The Upsell Marketing Specialist will manage the end-to-end subscriber/customer base revenue generation process. This includes opportunity analysis, concept testing, performance/results analysis, optimization, broader deployment/launch, and ongoing monitoring, all while ensuring a positive customer experience with Kinetic. The role focuses on product/service cross-sell and upsell, revenue optimization and preservation initiatives, and programs that activate and accelerate revenue. In this position, the specialist will need to understand the unique drivers of the business and customer behavior trends, preparing analyses that drive decision-making and performance. They will perform analysis on existing revenue-related campaigns and programs to identify optimization opportunities. Leveraging insights, the specialist will develop initiatives that proactively protect and retain revenue from ancillary products on existing customer accounts. Additionally, they will seek and identify new strategies and opportunities to enhance revenue by researching and analyzing data to enable informed insights and initiatives. Collaboration is key, as the specialist will work cross-functionally with front-line teams to identify outside-the-box and proactive upsell opportunities. They will assist in developing business cases to inform management decisions regarding new programs and in-market trials, setting estimated metrics such as targets and objectives. The role also involves identifying appropriate customer segments and crafting corresponding product/offer narratives to drive maximum revenue-generating campaigns. The specialist will manage and partner with cross-functional teams on program, campaign, and offer implementation, analyze data from the Business Intelligence team to provide insights into program performance, and monitor results to continue optimizing revenue.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze data from the Business Intelligence team to provide insights into program performance.
  • Monitor results to optimize revenue generation.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a business-oriented field such as Marketing, Management, Revenue Management, Finance, or BI/Analytics.
  • 7-10 years of experience in a related field.
  • Proficient with MS Office (Excel, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Experience with Hyperion Essbase, SQL Server, Tableau, or similar reporting tools is desired.
  • Experience developing business cases and modeling scenarios using data from multiple sources.
  • Familiarity with calculations for churn, ARPU, CPGA, and CLV/LTV.
  • Ability to summarize findings and develop appropriate narratives.
  • Track record of building and maintaining excellent relationships across varying levels and functions.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to organize and prioritize work to meet deadlines.
  • Solid analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and workflow.
  • Flexibility to pivot as business needs change.
  • Commitment to excellence and high standards.
  • Previous experience in modeling and comparative analysis.
  • Telecom experience preferred.
