The Global Trade and Compliance (GTC) team at URBN is seeking a dedicated Social Responsibility Intern for the summer internship program. This role is designed for individuals who are passionate about social responsibility and compliance within the supply chain. The intern will play a crucial role in supporting various initiatives aimed at enhancing supply chain transparency, conducting social responsibility audits, and mapping product-specific supply chains. This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a dynamic environment while contributing to meaningful projects that align with URBN's commitment to ethical practices. Throughout the summer, the intern will engage in a variety of tasks, including supporting supply chain mapping for Tier 1 and Tier 2 suppliers, reviewing workplace compliance assessments, and assisting with documentation requests to ensure that no forced labor is present in the supply chain. Additionally, the intern will provide valuable feedback on the social compliance audit process, helping to refine and improve the methodologies used by the GTC team. This position is not only about gaining practical experience but also about making a positive impact on URBN's supply chain practices. The URBN Summer Internship Program runs from June 2 to August 8, 2024, at the Home Office located in Philadelphia, PA. Interns will have the chance to participate in various events designed to enhance their learning experience, including exposure to senior leadership, insights into company initiatives, and off-site field trips. For those who excel during the internship, there may be opportunities to interview for full-time positions within the company after the program concludes.
