About the position

The Data Center Operations Technician role is a full-time, contract position focused on maintaining the physical hardware infrastructure within data centers. The technician will ensure reliability in cooling, power, environmental control, and security while performing installations, repairs, and inventory management. This position is hybrid, requiring local residents of Los Angeles to work both on-site and remotely.

Responsibilities

• Maintain physical hardware infrastructure reliability including cooling, power, and environmental control.
• Perform equipment installations and decommissioning.
• Manage vendor escort and access control.
• Conduct asset inventory and ensure physical security of the data center.
• Diagnose and repair faults in hardware infrastructure.

Requirements

• 2 years of experience maintaining hardware infrastructure in data centers.
• Proficiency in installing, configuring, and maintaining physical hardware.
• Ability to diagnose and repair faults in hardware.
• Current Driver's License with no restrictions.
• Must have own vehicle for travel to job sites.
