About the position

Valley Health is actively seeking both Full Time and Part Time Advanced Practice Providers to join our Urgent Care and Urgent Care Express Clinics located in Winchester and Front Royal, Virginia. This position offers flexible 12-hour shifts, allowing for a work-life balance that accommodates both personal and professional commitments. As a member of our healthcare team, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality healthcare services to our patients and the community at large. Our clinics are designed to provide immediate care for a variety of health concerns, and we pride ourselves on our commitment to patient-centered care. In this role, you will be responsible for assessing, diagnosing, and treating patients in an urgent care setting. You will work collaboratively with a team of healthcare professionals to ensure that patients receive timely and effective care. Your expertise will be essential in managing acute illnesses and injuries, performing minor procedures, and providing patient education. Responsibilities

  • Assess and diagnose patients in an urgent care setting.
  • Provide treatment for acute illnesses and injuries.
  • Perform minor procedures as necessary.
  • Educate patients on health management and preventive care.
  • Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure quality patient care.

Requirements

  • Current licensure as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant in Virginia.
  • Experience in urgent care or emergency medicine preferred but not required.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.

Nice-to-haves

  • BLS and ACLS certification.
  • Experience with electronic health records (EHR).
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
