About the position

The Urgent Care Family Medicine Physician at One Medical in Seattle, Washington, is responsible for managing patients' acute care concerns in a primary care setting. This role combines urgent care responsibilities with primary care practices, focusing on a wide range of medical issues and procedures. The physician will work within a team dedicated to transforming healthcare delivery, utilizing technology to provide high-quality, evidence-based care.

Responsibilities

• Manage patients' acute care concerns in a primary care setting.
• Perform common procedures such as STI diagnosis and treatment, staple and suture removal, pelvic exams, and IVs.
• Document physical exams, procedures, and in-office medications/prescriptions.
• Maintain current knowledge of urgent care practices and basic primary care topics.
• Initial management of acute changes in chronic conditions.

Requirements

• State licensed in Washington by the start date at One Medical.
• Practiced at least 2 of the last 5 years in an outpatient primary or urgent care setting seeing all ages, or completed a Family Medicine or Internal Medicine/Pediatrics residency in the last 5 years.
• Excellent clinical and communication skills.
• Desire to be part of a rapidly growing team dedicated to changing healthcare delivery.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and at least 3 holidays a year.
