Responsibilities

  • Provide clinical services for acute episodic conditions such as sore throats, colds, flu-like symptoms, cuts, sprains, and minor infections.
  • Assess and recognize serious conditions, directing patients to emergency care when necessary.
  • Deliver an unparalleled patient experience through quality care and attention.
  • Collaborate with a team of healthcare professionals, including Rad Techs, Medical Assistants, and Scribes, to ensure efficient patient care.
  • Utilize advanced medical technology and integrated EMR systems for patient management.

Requirements

  • Master's degree and NCCPA Certification for Physician Assistants or ANCC/AANP Certification for Nurse Practitioners required.
  • Minimum of 1 year of recent full-time experience in an Urgent Care, Primary Care, or Emergency Medicine setting required.
  • Experience treating both pediatric and adult patient populations required.
  • Comfortable performing minor procedures such as sutures, casts, and splints, and preliminary reads on EKGs and X-rays required.
  • Licensed in the state of Texas as a Nurse Practitioner (APRN or FNP) or Physician Assistant (PA) required.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in a fast-paced urgent care or emergency room environment.
  • Familiarity with advanced EMR systems, particularly Epic.
