About the position

The Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) at TorkLaw is a pivotal role responsible for leading the firm's marketing strategies to enhance brand visibility and client acquisition. This position requires a visionary leader who can balance strategic thinking with hands-on execution in both traditional and digital marketing domains. The CMO will oversee the marketing department, manage significant budgets, and drive innovative marketing initiatives to support the firm's growth and community engagement.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement comprehensive marketing strategies that align with the firm's goals and enhance its market presence.
  • Lead and expand the marketing department, nurturing a team of marketing professionals.
  • Manage significant budgets for both traditional and digital marketing channels, ensuring optimal allocation for maximum impact.
  • Spearhead digital marketing initiatives, including SEO, PPC, social media, and content marketing, to generate leads and elevate online presence.
  • Enhance client engagement through innovative community and event marketing.
  • Analyze market trends and marketing data to continuously refine marketing efforts and improve performance.
  • Work collaboratively across departments to integrate marketing strategies with overall business objectives.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field; Master's degree or MBA preferred.
  • Proven marketing leadership experience of over 8 years, ideally within a professional services or law firm setting.
  • Strong background in digital marketing, with demonstrated successes in improving online visibility and lead generation.
  • Expertise in managing traditional media and advertising buys, with a keen understanding of optimizing marketing spend.
  • Excellent leadership skills with experience building and mentoring a team.
  • Data-driven mindset with a capacity to translate analytics into actionable marketing strategies.
  • Ability to operate both at a strategic level and be hands-on in implementing marketing activities.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, capable of working effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
  • Experience managing budgets in excess of $3 million.
