About the position
We are seeking a General Dentist for an urgent need in Leonardtown, MD. The position is available as soon as credentialed and will last until December 31, 2024, with the possibility of extension. The dentist will work in a busy office environment with a diverse patient population, primarily adults and some cooperative pediatrics.
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive dental care to patients including examinations, diagnoses, and treatment planning.
- Perform a variety of dental procedures such as fillings, extractions, and preventive care.
- Collaborate with a team of 15 support staff members and 5 hygienists to ensure efficient patient care.
- Utilize Dentrix EMR for patient records and documentation.
- Maintain a high level of patient satisfaction and care.
Requirements
- Valid dental license in the state of Maryland.
- Experience in a busy dental practice setting.
- Ability to handle a variety of dental work and procedures.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience with Dentrix EMR system.
- Familiarity with treating pediatric patients.
