About the position

The SAP SD/SM Functional Consultant role is focused on leveraging expertise in SAP Sales and Distribution (SD) and Service Management (SM) modules to support various SAP projects. The consultant will be responsible for designing, configuring, and implementing solutions that meet business needs while collaborating with cross-functional teams and business users. This position requires strong communication skills and the ability to manage multiple projects effectively.

Responsibilities

• Design and configure SAP Sales and Distribution (SD) module.
• Perform SAP configurations in the SAP SD area.
• Write functional/technical specifications for ABAP custom programs and interfaces.
• Debug ABAP as needed for SAP SD user exits related to sales order, delivery, and billing.
• Implement solutions within predetermined resources, budget, and timelines.
• Work with business users to define scope and gather business requirements.
• Provide conceptual and detailed design to meet business needs.
• Test and rollout the final product.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
• Playback designs and system developments to business users.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience with SAP projects.
• Preferred experience in S4 HANA.
• Solid written and verbal communication skills.
• Specialized in design and configuration of SAP SD module.
• Good knowledge of SD pricing and account assignment processes.
• Ability to debug ABAP and write detailed specifications for development.
• Experience with intercompany postings and pro forma invoices.
• Knowledge of SAP iDocs for order induction and integration with other SAP modules.
• Project management experience with integration to external systems.
