The role involves conducting stress, vibration, and heat transfer analyses to ensure optimal performance and reliability of these systems.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct rotor dynamics analysis and vibration test data post-processing for turbomachine applications such as gas turbine engines.
  • Perform stress, vibration, and heat transfer analyses on turbomachinery and heat exchangers.
  • Utilize Finite Element Analysis (FEA) software to build 1D beam and 2D shell models.
  • Apply various analysis techniques including linear static, nonlinear/elasto-plastic, fatigue, modal, shock, harmonic, random vibration, and crack growth analyses.

Requirements

  • 5 years of experience in rotor dynamics analysis and vibration test data post-processing for turbomachinery applications.
  • 3 years of experience using Finite Element Analysis software such as ANSYS.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering.
  • Proficiency in linear static, nonlinear/elasto-plastic, fatigue (HCF & LCF), modal, shock, harmonic, random vibration, and crack growth analyses.
  • Strong working knowledge of ANSYS finite element software and classical hand calculation methods.
