About the position
The Agile Project Manager / Scrum Master role focuses on leading and coaching teams in an agile environment, particularly within the retail sector. This position requires a strong background in project management and agile methodologies, with an emphasis on cloud data platforms and marketing analytics. The Scrum Master will operate with minimal oversight, ensuring effective communication among stakeholders and managing project risks and schedules to achieve project goals.
Responsibilities
- Coach and guide teams in agile practices and methodologies.
- Serve as the central point for all project communications.
- Develop and deliver presentation content to align team and project sponsors.
- Establish effective project governance by acquiring sponsor and stakeholder groups.
- Identify and analyze project risks, focusing on resolution and escalation as needed.
- Develop project work breakdown structures and manage project schedules using approved tools.
- Monitor and manage project staffing plans and resource allocations.
- Develop and track project budgets, managing financials in Excel and WorkOtter.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience as a Scrum Master and Project Manager in complex IT projects.
- Strong hands-on project management skills with experience managing large teams across multiple locations.
- Proficient in structuring work into various workstreams and managing multiple concurrent IT projects.
- Experience with PM and Scrum tools such as Jira, WorkOtter, and SharePoint.
- Excellent communication skills, both oral and written, with the ability to engage with all levels of the organization.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience with cloud data platforms in marketing and customer analytics.
- Familiarity with business process transformation and change management practices.
- Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.
