About the position

The Power App Developer position is a long-term contract role focused on developing and delivering scalable customer-facing digital products using the Microsoft Power Platform. The role requires extensive experience in PowerApps, Flow, and Power BI, along with strong .NET development skills. The developer will work in a hybrid environment, collaborating with cross-functional teams to support project delivery and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Deliver global and highly scalable customer-facing digital products and capabilities.
• Utilize Microsoft Power Platform including MS PowerApps, Flow, and Power BI with Dataverse and Dynamics 365.
• Develop applications using .NET technologies including C#, ASP, .NET Core, MVC, Entity Framework, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
• Build distributed systems at scale based on microservices architecture.
• Create comprehensive documentation for projects including design, asset inventory, diagrams, and presentations.
• Communicate proposed designs and project progress to customers and team members.
• Support cross-functional project teams consisting of app development, IT operations, and information security.
• Interpret and design database models using MYSQL, SQL Server, etc.
• Ensure security aspects related to application development are understood and implemented.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in software development with a proven track record of delivering digital products.
• Extensive experience with Microsoft Power Platform (PowerApps, Flow, Power BI) and Dynamics 365.
• Strong .NET development experience, including C#, ASP.NET, .NET Core, MVC, Entity Framework, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
• Experience in building distributed systems based on microservices architecture.
• Ability to create and maintain project documentation.
• Strong communication skills for interacting with customers and team members.
• Experience with database design and management (MYSQL, SQL Server).
• Understanding of security best practices in application development.
