About the position

The DevOps Engineer position based in Carrolton, TX, is a full-time role focused on supporting the asset management business unit within the banking and finance domain. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cloud engineering, particularly with AWS, and experience in CI/CD processes, containerization, and data streaming technologies.

Responsibilities

• Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and other tools.
• Utilize AWS cloud services for application deployment and management.
• Automate platform processes using Docker, Kubernetes, and Terraform.
• Work with data streaming technologies such as Kafka and AWS Kinesis.
• Collaborate in an agile environment to enhance development processes.

Requirements

• Experience in the banking/finance domain, particularly in asset management.
• Deep knowledge of CI/CD tools and pipelines, especially Jenkins.
• Proficiency in AWS cloud services, Docker, and Kubernetes.
• Hands-on experience with data streaming technologies like Kafka and AWS Kinesis.
• Familiarity with ALM tools such as Bitbucket, Git, and Sonar.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with Apache Spark or Flink.
• Knowledge of Groovy and Python programming languages.
• Experience in fixed income, equities, high income, and alternatives.
