About the position
TheKey is seeking experienced caregivers to join our rapidly growing team in Chino Hills, Pomona, San Dimas, and the surrounding area. We are hiring for all shifts, including full-time, part-time, fill-in, and weekends. There is a high need for caregivers who speak Thai, Cantonese, Mandarin, or Taiwanese. Our mission is to provide premium in-home care to older adults, allowing them to live safely and comfortably at home as they age. We utilize a unique team-based approach that offers exceptional support to both our caregivers and clients, ensuring families receive the quality care they need.
Responsibilities
- Deliver exceptional care to clients in their homes
- Help execute comprehensive personalized weekly schedules and care plans
- Complete daily tasks in a safe and professional manner (ADLs)
- Provide personal companionship and ongoing social & emotional support
- Assist with personal care activities including hygiene, mobility assistance, incontinence care, light housekeeping, feeding, and meal preparation
- Maintain order, safety, and client enjoyment at all times
- Provide transportation to and from appointments as needed
- Document completion of tasks and report changes in the client's condition
Requirements
- Must have HCA Registration with the State of California (assistance available)
- Must have legal authorization to work in the US and be at least 18 years of age
- Must have a Driver's License, Personal Vehicle, and Insurance
- Must have 1 year of caregiving experience or more
- TB Clearance or Chest X-Ray
- Compassionate and caring demeanor
- Strong communication skills
- Basic computer skills and overall technical savviness
- Pass background check
Nice-to-haves
- Alzheimer's or Dementia experience is a plus
