About The Position

The Urologist opening in Dayton, OH, presents an exciting opportunity for a board-certified or board-eligible urologist to join a private urology practice that emphasizes a collaborative and team-oriented approach. The practice is dedicated to creating a work-life balance by evenly distributing work and referrals among its members. The practice is structured to support a partnership track for physicians interested in ownership of a surgical hospital and real estate, providing a unique opportunity for professional growth and investment. The practice consists of a well-established team of four board-certified urologists, one physician assistant, and a robust support staff including ten medical assistants, three billing and coding specialists, and eight front desk and administrative staff members. Additionally, there are three mid-level managers and a practice manager to ensure smooth operations across the five locations that are partnered with four hospitals. This extensive network allows for a large referral base from both private and hospital-employed primary care physicians. The call schedule is set at 1:5, with assistance from a physician assistant for weekly rounding and weekend call scheduling. The practice maintains a balanced approach to clinic and surgery, with a 50/50 split between the two. The electronic medical records system utilized in the office is NextGen, while EPIC is used in the hospitals, ensuring efficient patient management and record-keeping. The facilities are equipped with modern technology, including three procedure rooms, a digital Olympus scope with video monitors, and onsite urodynamic testing capabilities. The practice also features two GE ultrasounds, one of which was purchased in 2018. Satellite offices are equipped to perform various procedures, including Urolift, Botox, PNE, and bladder biopsies, alongside basic procedures such as cystoscopy and prostate biopsy. The hospitals affiliated with the practice are equipped with Da Vinci Robots, allowing for advanced urologic surgeries, excluding reconstruction and pediatrics.
