UPMC in Central PA is currently seeking a full-time Urologist to join our experienced team of physicians near Harrisburg, PA. The Urology practice is well-established and located near Harrisburg, PA, providing a supportive and collegial environment with a staff that includes Medical Assistants, Registered Nurses, and Advanced Practice Partners. The practice features an onsite surgery center for procedures, and the hospital operating room is conveniently located just half a mile from the clinic. The facility is equipped with DaVinci Xi robotics systems, enhancing the capabilities of our Urologists and allowing for advanced surgical techniques. This robust practice boasts strong provider-patient relationships and has an existing volume that facilitates a quick ramp-up for new providers. Additionally, there is a built-in referral network consisting of seven hospitals and 160 outpatient and primary care clinics, ensuring a steady flow of patients and opportunities for collaboration with other healthcare professionals.

Responsibilities

  • Provide high-quality, compassionate care to patients.
  • Perform urological surgeries and procedures using advanced techniques, including robotics.
  • Engage in clinical teaching and mentorship of medical students and residents.
  • Collaborate with a team of medical professionals, including nurses and advanced practice partners.
  • Participate in the development and implementation of patient care protocols and quality improvement initiatives.

Requirements

  • Board Eligible/Board Certified by the American Board of Urology.

  • Willingness to consider new Fellowship graduates.
