About the position
This position is for a Urology Physician in Abingdon, VA, offering a full-time, permanent role within a stable practice. The candidate will join two full-time Urology Physicians and a Urology Nurse Practitioner, supported by excellent staff. The role includes a call schedule of 1:2 and the option to utilize robotic surgery.
Responsibilities
- Provide urological care to patients in a clinical setting.
- Collaborate with existing Urology Physicians and Nurse Practitioner.
- Participate in a call schedule of 1:2.
- Utilize robotic surgery techniques as desired.
Requirements
- MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school.
- Board certification in Urology or eligibility for certification.
- Valid medical license to practice in Virginia.
- Experience in a clinical setting, preferably in Urology.
Nice-to-haves
- Fellowship training in Urology or related specialty.
- Experience with robotic surgery.
