About The Position

The Men's Health Urology position in Bridgeport, CT, offers a unique opportunity for a urologist with fellowship training in andrology or a demonstrated interest in men's health. This full-time, permanent role is part of a world-class Urology and Kidney care team that includes local and national leaders in their fields. The institute is structured around five system-wide interdisciplinary disease management teams, focusing on urologic oncology, pelvic health and urinary incontinence, stones, men's health, and chronic kidney disease. As a member of one of the largest Urology groups in New England, which consists of 30 urologists, you will be joining a team that has pioneered treatments that have become the gold standard of care nationwide. The position offers robust research opportunities supported by the institute's resources. You will have the advantage of working alongside fellowship-trained urologists within the Hartford HealthCare (HHC) practice. The call schedule is satisfying, with a 1 in 6 call rotation, and you will operate at a single hospital, eliminating the need to move from hospital to hospital. The facilities include a brand new XI robot, two robotic surgical suites, ten operating suites, a cystoscopy room, and a 30-bed ICU, all designed to support advanced urological care.
