About the position

The urology group at a large health system in South Carolina is seeking to welcome three urologists to their practice. This includes openings for general urologists as well as subspecialists in urologic oncology, GURS, and FPMRS. The incoming urologists will have immediate patient volume and the opportunity for a potential leadership role. The position requires teaching as part of the residency program.

Responsibilities

  • Provide urologic care to patients in a busy practice setting.
  • Participate in teaching activities for the urology residency program.
  • Engage in surgical procedures, including robotic surgeries, as needed.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive patient care.
  • Participate in on-call duties, with a call schedule of 1:5.

Requirements

  • MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school.
  • Board certification or eligibility in Urology.
  • Robotics experience preferred.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Nice-to-haves

  • Subspecialty training in urologic oncology, GURS, or FPMRS.
  • Leadership experience or interest in a leadership role.
